Family holidays to Israel start here

Start the day with your guide and driver and see the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk the ramparts for an overview, visit the four quarters of the Old City, and make your way down to the Kotel (Western Wall). The Kotel Tunnel tour or any of their new tours including the virtual reality tour are not to be missed. Overnight – Dan Panorama Jerusalem Hotel with breakfast.

Today you will visit Masada and the Dead Sea. As you drive between the majestic desert mountains, passing Bedouin tents, camels and different towns, you will be descending to sea level. You will stop at Ein Gedi, an oasis in the desert, then continue to Masada, either climbing by foot or taking the cable car, and learn the history of this amazing and tragic fortress. After lunch, take a dip (or try to) in the Dead Sea, enjoy the therapeutic mud and sulfur baths. If time allows, stop by the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Return to Jerusalem.

Start out early today. Arrive at the Lone Tree and hear the story about the area called Gush Etzion, where the last defenders made a stand before the enemies reached Jerusalem. Continue to one of many activities including Caliber 3 Shooting range/paintball and Wood Shop-woodworking with a Judaica twist. Visit the Pina Chama – a place where soldiers can have a break with homemade cookies and cakes made by the women in the area. Meet the soldiers and bring them some goodies! Then continue on to Bet Guvrin, an archeological dig. Get ready to get dirty! Take part in a 2-hour dig where you can see parts of ancient Israel from up close.

A beautiful area filled with waterfalls and the best hiking and jeeping tours! Visit Mount Bental and see into Syria, continue to the Hula Valley and watch the migration of birds from Europe to Africa.

Today you will see the mystical city of Safed, where Kaballah originated! Visit the Ari Synagogue, a candle factory, and a glass-making studio, among other sites.

We will start at the most Northern tip of Israel and see the majestic grottos of Rosh Hanikra, take the cable car down and explore on your own, or take a boat ride or ride a bike. Continue to Akko and see the underground city, then stop in Haifa and see the Bahai Gardens. End the day in Caesarea and see the Roman Amphitheatre, as well as a sound and light show that tells the story.

Relax today and explore  the city of Tel Aviv. Visit the promenade, the beach and many different museums or take a walk and follow Independence Trail, which is now 100 years old!

See the Old City of Jaffa, a fishing port, artist galleries and more! Then continue to Tel Aviv to see Rabin Square, Nachalat Yitzchak, Bauhaus buildings and the Nachalat Binyamin arts and crafts fair (Tuesdays & Fridays)
